Default My Tiger

First time poster, long time tanker. Here is my 90% complete HL S&S metal upgrade Tiger. I need to add the tow cables and finish some weathering and stuff, but please let me what you think good or bad. I don't think the pictures do it any justice but here it is.
Thanks

I really like how the back is all banged & shot up.

Looks great! From a rivet counter's perspective there are a number of things that can be improved upon or changed. As a first timer's knock around tank the weathering and wear and tear is some of the best I've seen. Enjoy!

Thanks for the compliment. I have always been a 1/32 - 1/35 scale modeler and do dioramas and stuff. A tank of this size is harder to detail because its so much easier to see everything.

Nice job on detailing, weathering, and battle damage...I'd like to see you add the track guards with the same effect...anyhow, I can't help wonder where you got your commander, I only saw the back part of it, but he looks like he too was painted nicely...did you paint it yourself?

The commander does look good... here's what I used. A 1/18 Joachim Peiper I got online. I believe there's one on eBay now for about $15. Nice figure and I hated to cut him, but put a small magnet inside so I could reconnect if need be. Velcro keeps him in the cupola good when driving.

There are a few on eBay, search "1/18 Joachim" http://cgi.ebay.com/GERMAN-Joachim-P...QQcmdZViewItem
