we have had a couple of posts on the forum showing how to put all the firing functions on a Heng Long radio into the stick and eliminate the firing button, or vice-versa. can anyone provide me the link(s) to those posts. thanks in advance.

soldier that diode in those spots and youll be good to go with the left upstick. !!!!!Note!!!!! if you want the flash to work with the recoils and track movement all with the left upstick, soldier the diode at the end of the current path or pin #4 from the right. thats what i did and all the firing mechanism works with the left upstick( flash, main gun recoil, infared shot, and the track jerks)

Here is an easy mod to link the airsoft gun and the K button( Left stick forward engages the switch, wires go to two sides of the back of the K button) they have these micro switch's at Radio Shack!

AS I was not able to add any test to the photos above I guess i'll do it here.

Pictures show what I have odne to spruce up my Heng long radio's.  Internal shots show a very simple, no cost contact switch so you can fire the gun with the left stick.

I also use the Heng Long wall wart to power a couple of radios.  When inside the house or close to 120 V  power, I can just plug these radios in.  No batteries.
