Wow did you see the German helmet he had for sale. That poor guy that was in it if he was wearing it at the time of those bullet hits he was gone in a flash maybe it was just used for a target buy the
russians after the battle.

Very cool Panther! I missed a Tiger track a few months ago. I've got too much going on right now to bid and he's starting this one a bit high.

I have a metal detector nowand spent two years in Germany in the army - wish I had it then . I was station in Wildflecken in the '80's which was an SS training area in WW2 and still used the same old buildings, and also in Aschaffenburg which from what I later found out here, saw some pretty heavy action during the war. I've read of some pretty nice finds over there on bases that are, or were, being used by US troops

I know minewas only for the M4 chassis and didn't go for the big bucks like the highly sought after German track links, but it was something like $25.00 and $25.00 shipping.

Have you read the blurb on the ebay page re: the 'german' helmet and horrificm 'german' losses.

My estonian friends would be mighty p*ssed!
