Richard,

That would be great.  Do you need me to post my email address?  Don't worry about your spelling/typing,  I'm dyslexic and read right through it without notice  lol.

Richard,

Thank you so much for the file.  It is fantastic.  I feel I can easily fabricate the brackets in the drawings and be able to equip my German armor force with protective armor plates to protect them agains the marauding russian T34's.  When I have a completed model, I'll be sure to send some pics.  Thanks again,   and long live the armore force.

Do you have any idea of how wide the braces are? Also, are they strap steel reinforced at the bends or T shaped? Thanks for all your help.

I would add that while I haven't had anybody check the design of the hull Schurzen, the turret Schurzen plans areexactly the same as the dimensions of the TamiyaPanzer IV - not bad for something eyeballed off of a cheapo 1/18 toy offof Ebay and an old 1/72nd Esci kit from 20 years ago, even if I do say so myself...
The pins you can see sticking out are short peices of approx3/16" wire. I drilled thru the brass brackets and theSchurzen / turret andpushed them thru, and then flattened them off withthe Dremel. Hopefully no more breakages, and it makes it safely thru the post to the UK in one peice in time for our annual meeting...

I do have a design for the Panzer III turret, but it needs some revisions and I've not had the time to get around to that so far this year. Watch this space...

Martin

P.S. to answer your questions:

The original pdf isposted in my member space on the UK 1/16th IR AD forum, however because we were posting our contact info there as well its closed to non members - PM me if you want a set and I'll email the doc to you (if the download link has expired)

I use K&S 1/32 x 1/8 brass flat bar -I have seen others use wider strips, however, so use whatever you think looks right
