Wow!Good stuff there. Hope the price comes down in time. I think I've heard the Blitz talk about some spray on stuff before that is already out. [I'd still be a chicken to run my tanks through anything more than a shallow puddle though!

"It costs about $1,000 to do one lap top"
Uhh ... really? I'd rather spend the money on a boat then.

I have a can of stuff like that. It's a real mess but it works. Think I paid like $10 for a can. There's a post around here somewhere with the name and people's experiences with it. 2006 vintage I think.

The video says it is a vacuum deposited process, which I'm sure is quite different than spraying a $10 can of water resistant "stuff" on your electronics.
Anyway, it seems even more interesting to use this on RC submarine electronics. Possibly eliminating theneed for a"water tight cylinder", which takes up a lot of space in the hull and can be difficult to fabricate or expensive to buy already made.

Nice avatar Comrade!
Probably so but the gooey stuff works too at $10. It has also been used to dry out and restore electronics that were water damaged.

Thanks Shen! I'd forgotten what it was called and it's packed away in the garage somewhere.

Just spray electrics on both sides ..Let soak for a few min then dab excess off with paper towel and your ready to go!

Doescorrision xeliminate the need to water proof the lower tank hulls? Or just add an extra insurance?
Anything to protect the speaker? Or does it even need it?
Do you spray it on after soldering the wires to it? If you disconnect the wires, do you have to re-apply it after re-soldering them?
