Default VStank hard tracks

Thought I'd post this in case anyone was unaware, Toyeast now has the individual link tracks for the Sherman, KV-1 and T-72 in stock. Regards, JZ

Nobody really wants or cares about VSTank or any 1/24 scale tank. I think 1/16 HenLongs are it, they are the future of RC tanking. They are very reliable and the manufacturer offers great support!

No offense dude, but I and many others on here care about the VS tanks. Have you ever owned one? I own Heng Long, Matarro, and Vs tanks, so I can speak from experience. The VS tanks are actually better detailed, more dependable, about the same price, plus the added bonus of being available at Tower Hobbies and other convenient hobby shops. I'm not knocking HL or Matarro, because I like them all. My VS tanks kick the HLs tanks' butts outdoors. In back to back testing this weekend, my VS tanks did MUCH better in the grass thant the 1/16 scale tanks.

By the way, the HL manufacturer offers great support???!!! They care nothing about American consumers, only their dealers like Bill at RCCommand, RC Tank Wars, and Mato Toys care enough about their customers to make things right when HLs are defective which is quite often.

Right on Titan20. I care about vstank, because I own 8 of them. They are excellent little tanks with huge potential. Vstank is working towards a proportional controls upgrade and a line of 1/24 battlefield accessories (buildings, trees, soldiers).

As the the tracks, I love my Abrams and Leopard plastic tracks. I will be ordering 4 sets of T-72 tracks in the near future. Thanks for the update JZ.

In that case how can you explain on this forum hundreds of topics about HenLong and almost no topics about VsTank Pro???

Glad some other guys appreciate 1/24 scale tanks. I have the heng long and mattorro tanks and they're great.....BUT, I've never had a vstank D.O.A or have to do a couple hundred dollars in upgrades to make it a good runner. I'm not knocking Heng Long, I think vstank has better quality control at the factory. Regards, JZ

Condors attitude is certainly not acceptable and I feel his responses should be removed from this thread. RC Tanking is RC Tanking no matter what scale. I would love to own a few Vs. tanks. I have all 1:16 HL and Tamiya and WSN tanks and they take up quite a bit of space. The 1:24 scale is great for smaller battle fields . The VS. tanks also have some awesome detail and features I WISH the HL's had.

What attitude do I have? In my previous post I asked a valid question. Are you saying there are as many discussions here about VsTank as Henlong?
I was not being sarcastic, I really would like to know why HL is 100 times more discussed here than VsTank.

I keep hearing that VsTank is a lot better quality both the looks, the mechanics, the elecstonics are all rock-solid. So do people discuss HL because they have problems with them (burned PCB's, many Henlongs are dead on arrival) whereas VsTanks just work right out of the box and hence no need to ask how to fix or MOD this or that? I really wanna know

well i have 1/24 tanks also and 1/16 tamiya and HL and motorro and i have to admit i always find myself taking out the 1/24 tanks they are smaller but they do hold there own i have run them in places where my 1/16 scale tanks break down abut the 1/24 go strong and are riding over much worse ground for there size than the 1/16 tanks do!
The only bad thing on the 1/24 is that they sound all the same and the radio is not like a real rc full proportional ...BUT Steve at toyeast is making up 2.4 upgrade electronics and radios for installment in any VS 1/24 tank it's said to have many sound options and smooth proportional control....and another thing is with the older snap together plastic VS tracks they where good enough to make the 1/24 tanks go many places but now the new plastic tracks have metal pins in them so now the 1/24 tanks should go anyware!!! that was the fault of the old VS plastic tracks the poped apart because they only snapped together now with the metal pins i see VS tanks going over and through stuff even that much better!

Reaseon so many guy's talk about 1/16 tanks is because they are much easier to paint and detail due to there size and also because they break so much theres always alot of topics about fixing them... you rarely see topics on VS tanks because they don't break like 1/16 tanks do...if they did there would be tons of posts about the 1/24 tanks then.... Once these 1/24 tanks kit's come out the 2.4 with ultra smooth controles and many sound options the 1/24 scale will BOOM because like I told Steve at toyeast the main reasone the 1/24 are set behind is they are toyish sounding and drive not as good as a proprtional tamiya type tank.... once the 2.4 hits the shelves 1/24 will EXPLODE in popularity!!!
I mentioned to Steve that the 2.4 is top priority...they thought it was not but after descussing it on another board with other guy's he is putting a hault on other VS products and pushing the 2.4 fulll speed ahead!!

I agree. Once the promised 2.4G digital proportional control and the better sound effects arrive, the situation may be different. I myself am holding back on 1/24 tanks precisely because of these reasons!

Kind of makes you wonder why a guy who has been a member as long as he has,and only made 88 post in several years would start out his first post in a different forum with an inflamitory statement like he did. (four posts here ) ???

It's about time you guys start having the attitude that you are not going to tollerate such posting.I can tell you it has cost you a lot of active members by allowing this to have taken place in the past, and it will cost more in the future.

Condor I can tell you one thing,Panther G and shenlonco are straight arrow guys and are respected on this forum. If your smart a little editing is in order and mabe a "I'm sorry" might well be in order.

First off, Thanks Condor ! If it was not for you I would not have found out how great the 1/24 VSTanks are.
Anyway Folks, You have certainly made a believer out of me. I always thought these Tanks
looked great but I had no idea they performed so well.
But I have a few questions......Does VSTanks have an idea as to when the proportional system will be ready ? And would I be able to install this system in a Tank I bought tomorrow ?
Is is true the airsoft in these 1/24th Tanks have twice the muzzle velocity of a HL ?? and lastly, how much running time do you get from 8 double A`s ?? These Tanks do take 8 double A`s ??
Thanks
Barry

From what I know, the 2.4G digital proportional system will be available from 2010 onwards. Based on what Steve says, old Vstank tanks (i.e. 2008 version and below) that you have now can be easily upgraded next year by just changing the boards.

Tower hobbies just sells tracks for the Abrams I believe.

BTW, I have placed 5 orders now from Toyeast for various parts (tracks, crystals, airsoft cannon for another tank) and have received my order in less than 2 weeks from when I placed it, every time.

I am afraid you are very wrong here I see you did some research, but not enough. If you do a bit "deeper" research you'd understand what I mean

Maybe the post wasn't meant to be sarcastic, but it certainly appeared that way. I've been on and off this tank board for quite a while, and I agree with Shenlonco I usually find myself driving the VS tanks more. I always want to repaint them, and do some modifications, but doggone it they just look and run too good from the factory. Shenlonco has went the HL electronics route in the VS tanks for full proportional control. And come on, tons of people on here gut the HL tanks and install better electronics. How cool would it be to go the El Mod route with a Spektrum radio in a VS tank!!??? Come on guys, someone has to do it eventually maybe it will be me someday!

Wow, I didn't think this would turn into such a heated discussion. Condor11, the vstanks are great. Don't get me wrong, I like the 1/16 stuff alot, but vs is rock solid in quality of build. I run them anyplace I run my larger scale tanks without a problem. The only thing I can say is check them out and decide for yourself. Regards, JZ

lol Too funny Fireman Tim
Anyway you guys went and done it, you convinced me to buy a 1/24th VSTank Tiger1.
After changing my mind a few hundred times I finally decided on the Forest Camo BB shooting version. And if Toy Easts shipping is as good as last time, I`ll have it in 8 days yeeehaaa!
Must say I`m really impressed with the detail and paint. Probably weather it some though,
dont like my Tanks to be in show room condition. Cant wait to take it for a spin and shoot some stuff !

Thanks again everyone for getting me interested in the 1/24th VSTanks. The Late Production Tiger I ordered arrived yesterday, in only 8 days. Way to go ToyEast !! This Tank
is terrific !! Great paint job, great detail and everything works perfectly. It is smaller than I thought it would be though. Figured it would be about the size of a 1/16th Pzr III, but the body of this Tiger is a good 3 inches shorter than my P III. Anyway, I`m really happy with this lil Beast, so much that I orderd the VST !/24th Sherman.
One thing....It says there is a completely new control for volume level on the Sherman, could someone please tell me where this is on the Tiger ? And if the Tiger does not have this, where might the completely old control be ?

Do all the different types, airsoft/IR have sound and light up headlights?
I know there used to be a "sparkling" version which I think they discontinued?
I have an older Marui Tiger which I think is pretty nice but, these VS Tanks seem to be a bit nicer.
