Default Welsh Dragon

Looks like Steve has some new goodies on his site!

Metal Early Tiger roadwheels with rubber tires (or tyers). I think I'll have to backfit all my tigers with the ball bearing drive shaft supports.

the dimension is the diameter of the final drive shaft that the sprocket mounts too. I already ordered a set of the metal road wheels from Welshdragon. He must have had only one set because now there listed as out of stock. I think this is part of the problem with everyone waiting on Asiatam parts from Bill at RCC and everyone else who deals with Asiatam. They are just not supplying the dealers with either now enough parts or are just very slow in shipping them. I know that is the problem with RCC's orders for the gearboxes and other Asiatam parts. He just cant get them fast enough. And as far as the guys waiting for the upgraded turrets ,Bubbajoexx builds them for Bill. These are not just asiatam parts. These are custom turrets using Tamiya parts. Bubba gets them done as fast as he can.

I ordered my roadwheels directly from Asiatam, they arrived pretty quick.

I just noticed that Steve also has a little gizmo you plug in to get rid of that pesky recoil. Cool. I almost wish he would stop having all this stuff come out at once. Well not really me but the wife does.

Hi

I have fitted one of these in an HL and it is quite easy to do with some simple soldering. You break the positive wire to each motor and splive the unit in. Then there is a little green wire that goes to the board and hey presto - no more awful HL recoil. I felt they were well worth the money. I will see if I can get a hold of Steve to find out when more are in.

cheers

Hi guys

Just heard back from Steve. He had not replied sooner as he has had a couple of days off that were much needed. The ARM modules should be back in stock in a couple of weeks. The supplier only makes them in small batches so they are not always readily available but he should have them back in stock then.

cheers

Got a response!!!!!

Hello,

thanks for yourorder, yes the <span id="lw_1254851895_0" class="yshortcuts" style="border-bottom: #0066cc 1px dashed; background-color: #dceeff; color: #000; cursor: hand">drive shaft</span> is for the HL Tiger I with the standard gearbox. Please note that the chinees <span id="lw_1254851895_1" class="yshortcuts" style="border-bottom: #0066cc 1px dashed; cursor: hand">drive shafts</span> have a wide tolerance 80% have under 7,99mm and20% have above 8,00mm. We can not say what shaft you have.
This drive shaft what you order is for shafts under 7,99 mm. But you canmake the shaft smaler with sandpaper. But the best is that you measure your shaft for safety.
yes, that include the HL <span id="lw_1254857544_0" class="yshortcuts" style="border-bottom: #0066cc 1px dashed; background-color: #dceeff; color: #000; cursor: hand">metal gear box</span>.

HI

Appologies folks, I mistakenly said two weeks for the ARM modules when it should read at least three weeks.

Sorry
