Hey I like those tracks, I bet they'd look great on my M1A1. How much were they and what are they from? Do those tamiya gearboxes run faster than standard henglong with 400 size motors?

They are Tamiya LEO 2A6 tracks. They are the same tracks that would come with the LEO. The sprockets are also from the LEO, that is what the machined shaft adapter is for. LEO sprockets wont work on standard gearbox shafts so I came up with this idea. I got the tracks and sprockets from Karen at the AAF Museum. The tracks where 60.00 bucks I think I remember paying. Not too bad of a price, and they are great tracks . Real rubber pads.

No the Tamiya Panther, that is what these boxes came from , arent faster. Stock HL gearboxes with 400 motors would be insane fast. WAY WAY out of scale. The stock Tamiya boxes are a little faster than they should be per scale but not too unrealistic.

I think I'm going to go back too the NATO color scheme. I was just messing around one day mixing colors, just to see what it would look like. I have the proper Tamiya NATO colors to re-paint it.

I'll have to check the sprocket pitch against my HL Pershing too see if these tracks would work with the HL sprockets. This way we could use HL gearboxes in any configuration. I just hade these boxes lying around so that is what I worked the mod around.
