Hi the radio is not a VS one it's the FOV radio and is 100% better than the toy like small VS one.
they also sound 100% better also!
these tanks have plastic individual track and if you look at the new models boxex they say new features and they say metal tracks with updated gear boxes so that will be SWEET!!

These are great for 1/24th scale and for those who want a smaller tank to save room. Wow, an intial turret KT with zimm!!

Hi the tracks are prbably the same as the FOV tanks the sherman and tiger ones have the same size tracks as VS so i guess the KT would be no different.

Hi guys I´m hooked on the VSTanks, the build quality is superb

I haven´t tried the Force Of Valor tankes yet, so can´t rate em... If the quality of them are as high as the VSTanks, they are a great 1:24 alternative. The Force Of Valor remote looks kind of cheep... If you ask me VsTank Announced that they will make a new transmitter, 2.4 Ghz, that will work with your old VsTanks (If you "upgrade" them)

Actually it's just the oposit the VS radio is cheap the FOV radio is normal RC sized radio that fit's your hands better and also it's all proportional FM not am single speed push button like VS.
Another thing is it don't matter if VS makes a 2.4 radio if they still use the cheap way there ir and tanks sound...
The FOV tanks sound much better and realistic and there iR system is 100% better also as they have cool functins that VS don't have at all Like you can turn the sound on or off on the FOV tanks by pressing 2 buttons on the radio also you can set up to 3 seperate teams on the radios so you can not shoot your team member and also all the anti tank IR weapons can be set up like this also so they won't hit you only your oponet you are battling.
And lastly in a little over 1 year FOV has put out almost more than VS has since they first made there first 1/24 tank many many years ago!
Just look at the box art on the new FOV series they even improved them more with more feature! and they are less $$ than VS also!!

Here is the sound on them i just made it very loud with a amp inside you can't compaire this to VS it's sound blows the cheap clancking VS sound away!

I just about had it with VS i been trying to help them out with ideas and stuff for there tanks since there first model and after all these years they only slightly improved them they just don't listen to customers on the boards who complain about the cheazy radio and sound!

Hi Shenlonco The FOV tanks sound nice, again I haven´t tried them... Can´t seem to find any stores selling them in Denmark So i guess I´m stuck with VSTank for now

All I can say is that I´m very happy with my VSTanks. They are a lot of fun, and the quality of the tanks are superb (if you ask me).
The FOV team setup sounds cool, and the tanks look good. It´s nice to have something to choose from in the 1:24 scale

No one here is a expect nor qualified to say which brand is better then other,
All brands have their own little quirks and problems.
No Brand is Perfect.....It's just what one individual prefers to own, collect or use....

i owned a fov king tiger for 1 minute. i opened the box and didnt like what i saw, the sprocket and tracks are not to scale, main gun rubbery and so on. so i returned it.im waiting for the vstank version as i know it will be accurate. however, if they changed a couple things on them they would be good.

I would like too see the VS guys build there modern armor in 1:16th scale. I dont even care if they put electronics in them. I'll work something out. LOL

i meant the king tiger, i agree though, the tiger 1 is great looking, why did they take shortcuts on the king tiger?. anyways im sure i might get another fov sooner or later. great pics shen!! i have for the moment just a vstank tiger 1 i bought on ebay for 25.00. works good looks awesome and drives horribly sadly.

Nothings wrong with the FOV KT the tracks are most likely the same width as VS tracks and are the same the reason the VS tracks look wider is only because the tanks in the ohoto above are taken on a angle when the FOV tank is on that angle viewed from the front the tracks look wide also because you can;t see the fender over hanging at this angle...
Look It looks fine to me.
Maybe it needs a little detail weathering that's about all.
But it will sound and drive better that's for sure!

That's really hard to believe that is 1/24th scale, why it could be easily mistaken for a much larger version. Too bad the 1/16th tanks are not this nice looking, I mean even the VSX 1/72 R/C tanks of mine look really sharp for their size!

At least SOME companies are trying to win people over.
