Looks very nice. Where did you get the idea for the spare tracks wrapped around the spare roads wheels? That would be a very awkward and cumbersome way to carry them, let alone the lifting required to make use of either. That's a lot of weight on the rear.

Apparently it was something StuGs of the Das Reich division did in the summer of 1943 in Russia, together with carrying that large wooden box fitted between them.

Kind of makes sense to me to see the spares wrapped with armor protection, since those were likely prone to random gunfire. What good is a spare if it's shot to bits with rounds and shrapnel?

Unusual, but in a combat area.a lot of ad hoc things happen with crews improvising on everything. Figure it would have been better to lay them on the side etc for addded protection...but who knows what the crew was going through. German tracks were not all that good and wore out at amazingly fast rate, so carrying more is understandable.

Wpm, I got my shurzen from www.battlefrontmodels.com. I have also bought skirts for my panther and jagdpanther from him too and a few other bits and bobs.
