I sent payment last week, but 2 phone calls and 3 or 4 emails to order more stuff and then to check on shipping of the original order have gone unanswered since then. That does not inspire confidence.

He can be very hard to get in touch with. He is slow to respond and slow to ship but he did come through for me in the end. He even refunded money for parts he could not get.
Just keep pestering him...

I usually don't order from him due to the many threads like this that pop up. I decided last week to give him a try cuz I heard he was getting better. emailed him and Phil asking if tey had parts in stock. RCCommand never answered my e-mail. Phil responded within hours and I ordered from him. Parts were in my hands in under 5 days. Voting with ones wallet.

Same boat (or tank ) here "unforeseen delays" I was told then e-mail went quiet since then. That was last thursday. Order went in 8/5.
I have even tried to work with him to get one of a couple models if in stock since I had a hard time choosing just what I wanted.
Hmmmmmm......
You never know what someone may be going through in their life, business etc... but not to be cold here, his problems should not be the customers problem.
Shut it down if you can't handle it or regroup and come back when you can please the customer. He's doing bad business here.

Pester him a lot.
It took 8 months to get my money back, but I did get a full refund on the parts he could not send. I had to get nasty and sound mean to get him to respond.
I too have an order comming from Phil at RC Tankwars, sorry Bill.

Great..........
Crap.........
I don't have the money to spend to have a double order at Tankwars and rc command.
Why don't people just do what's right?
Good luck wpm.

Although I couldn't get a response otherwise, rc command responded immediately to my paypal dispute and refunded the money, so good for him. And I already have tracking info from Phil, so great for him!

Well, bill still has his day job and he travels alot. just like the situation with Willy, but alot of the newer people here would not know about that. He also nolonger has his "Partner " who was supposed to handle all this stuff while he was away. This was a mistake on Bills part that he is still paying for. when he is watching the show things run smoothly but when he cannot dedicate the time needed it gets a little sticky. I will now and always stand behind Bill be cause i know him and he is very conscientious about this hobby and dislikes they way things are at times also. But I know he is working to rebuild his reputation but it will take time. .He did have to reorder almost his entire inventory as most of it some how turned up missing. But I wont comment on that any further.

Well, thanks to Panther G and Yellowshaker's comments, I feel a bit better about my order from RCcommand. I'll give it a while longer and see what happens. It's mainly just rear idler adjusters and some fluff items I ordered. I ran a battery down yesterday and all seems fine, so no rush.

I was in a rush, and made it clear I was particular about turn-around time before I ordered. Having said that, 8 months of 'pestering' before gettinga refund is ridiculous by any stretch.

As I have stated I have just recently tried to order from RCcommand. No response whatsoever. I suggest if you want something from them you go through Panther G as he is the only one that seems to get his emails returned from Bill.
If your not willing to go through Panther G then I suggest you put a fork in this dead pig. Good god, Phil is so easy to order from, why even f with this?

Well I cant say that would be the best approach either as I have no personal interest in his company. I can only tell what I know of the situation. I have not spoken to Bill in quite awhile my self, so the current situation may have changed. Everyones turn around time can change. I have waited extended periods of time from various vender's for parts or other items from this forum also. In this hobby the vender's are at the mercy of the manufacturers. That is all there is too that. Asiatam is notorious for slow delivery as they only make their products in small lots. Every one is different.

Well I belive Bill is a Good guy dealing with a bad situatation. He did refund my money in the end so I give him points for that. As for how his business is going, well... everyone has bad times and most of us get by, cause others cut us some slack.
I am going to order from Bill again sometime. It will be small, cheap stuff he can ship easy so I can test him and he can keep a business going. We need more vendors out there, not less. Bashing Bill does not help us get parts any cheaper or faster, having more guys out there selling us parts will.
I say spread your money around and keep all our vendors afloat.

I actually received a CAL from Bill today after these posts. It seems there is a quarrel going on in china where all this stuff is being made between the manufacturer and the venders. Asiatam being one party involved. Shipments from China are slower than ever and there are a few disputes going on.
this may cause some delays with parts. all of our present suppliers we use will be seeing this delay affect them. Phil included , so it is not just Bill. It is gonna affect all of them. Anyone ever notice that even Welshdragon models is usually out of stock of a lot of items. watch his site too and you will see.

Thanks, Panther G, for the update.
I have orders out there and now I will be a little more understanding. I may also hold off future orders till we hear more from our valued suppliers.

I just got into this hobby in July and REALLY like it, I hope this doesn't completely shut off the flow of "new toys" , I think there's a Panzer IV F2 in my future, I hope it is not a too distant future.
