Phil, thank you very much. I have learned from all of you guys and continue to learn each day. It's a lot of fun and educational in many ways. I look forward to each and every tank.
YHR, the MG can be got at rc-tank-world though I bought mine from AFV model shop.

Alright guys, I'm on the move again with the Leo.Still waiting on Wecohe to send me the Tiger wheels...lol
AFV sent my headlight lenses today and I had a set of bulbs here from a Tamiya tank kit thatI will be using inside the headlight housings. Here are a few pictures. The lenses do not fit otb and need to be sanded to fit the housing, but not a big deal to fix. Aside from that it should all go together pretty well.

So I got the both leses to fit the headlight housings and the bulbs are in place.I had to drill the opening a bit on the housingfor the wries to fit better. Here's a couple shots of the light mocked up on the bracket. Now for some paint and wiring into the hull and everything should be functional...well after I get my new elmod of course LOL

Thanks Jimmy. I know it ain't much to show, but I came this far with the pictures so I figured go all the way. Here's a few more shots of the progress. All I need to do now are install the elmod units and perhaps larger motors. I will decide that upon testing for speed. I added the finished headlights and did a little detail work on the lower hull to dirty it up a bit....

Steve, I haven't a clue! I have no electrics in it, save the TU's. I am waiting for an Elmod to install. I hope it runs good!
Thanks Borabora! I had a few area to touch up on the road wheels and stuff. It was a time consuming paint job to do and I neglected a few spots...my eyes were tired...yea, that's it, my eyes were tired. LOL

Man, I think you did the weathering just right, It looks like it should get your carpet dirty!

Pix of it in snow would be cool!

I have a picture of a 6 wheeled armored personnel carrier that has a camo job almost exactly like that. I wish I could post it but I dont have a scanner.<div> I forget what country has it but it is bad A#% just like your tank. </div><div> I found it. It is a Renault VAB Armored Personnel Carrier from France. I mean the paint job is almost identical. Really cool. Wish one of the major companies would build some multi- wheeled APC's. They are so cool.</div>

Come on Greg, get a scanner so I can see this thing!  LOL
I didn't wan to go overboard on the weathering, but I though it needed a little muck on the lower hull assembly to make it look used. I am happy where it s now. I'll be ordering a new aerosport radio and elmod in the coming days. I'll also be adding deans connectors to the motor leads. I will then have to figure if the tank is fast enough as the real A4 ran flat out at about 45mph. I may change motors and/or pinions to build speed if needed.  You guys have kept me inspired with this thing and it has takena  while to get it all together. I am anxiously awaiting BIG Tony's paint job on his A6. I can't wait to see that tank come to life!

This evening I was struck with motivation and decided to go ahead and replace the stock tamiya motors.I installed a set of ETO's black Long Cans. After a good break-in and oiling, all is back in place and ready for Elmod to go in.Almost there now...

I'm sure it'll be great Bowlman! This Leo is a lot of fun to work with. I don't know about yours, but this was bought in very poor condition. It's been worked on over the past few monthson and off, but now I eally want to get it done. Do you have a thread of your build?

RE: Something different with an A4 UPDATED!!!

Hmm, AFV has a great set of wheels for the Leo, though they are quite expensive, I think the quality is very good! I had considered buying them as well...but decided that these wheels are in decent shape and don't need replacement.
