RE: looking for a twin motor control unit
the cheapest way i know is to use the boards from inside a servo. i have built a couple of 1/35 tanks and many boats with them.

RE: looking for a twin motor control unit
hmm,I've never thought about that. Are you using your normal large scale futaba servos for that or micro servos?

RE: looking for a twin motor control unit
the biggest cheapest servo you can get. i have ben using some old g plug ones. a heat sink helps if usung a bigger motor i have used them for esc in small ships and turit traverse to.

RE: looking for a twin motor control unit
I'll have to see if I have any old futaba servo's laying around. I will be using that diy tamiya twin motor gear box. The omtors look pretty small.

Tamiya does sell little project kits that have the wired remote and gearbox as well. You would have to adapt the axles to fit.

Hey Hunter,
Here is a link to a mod I did a couple years ago converting a micro servo to an ESC for turret traverse in my KT. Reference Darkith, White Wolf, and Armchair General for their contributions. Perry http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_6144490/tm.htm |
