RE: MISTERIOUS TANKS...
Method of attack has Chechnyan terrorists written all over it. Sources agree, both in Mockba and here. If the opinion is wrong and it was for instance, Gruzya, then Gruzya will cease to exist by oh, say, 15:00 tomorrow.

RE: MISTERIOUS TANKS...
Guys, thanks for support,
just facts: lot of people were killed - about 40 civilians and about 60 people wounded. People are still dying in the hospitals now, syrgeries are on. Attacks were done by women shakhids wearing explosive belts with metals balls inside (as NewsLife and Lenta.ru say). Third explosive belt had not exploaded. This evening our president will address the nation. Things are seen differently from here. I still prefer not to make any conclusions or evaluations, even if this point is raised... 2 Moderator: may be we transfer this post and other non-related post to another topic? I think it is not good to rubbish with such news any of the topics... |
RE: MISTERIOUS TANKS...
HAL - I'm sorry to hear the bad news. Was not aware this happened, until a few minutes ago, after reading your post. I hope all those who were wounded fully recover.

RE: MISTERIOUS TANKS...
Guys, just today have learnt (read it in one of the military magazines dedicated to TIGER-I), that Germans had one prototype Tiger-I H3 built ob VK45001 base. After this they decided that the tank body of VK36001/45001 was absolutely outdated and started-initiated TIGER-II development. Question to all that know anything about this fact advise, any photos blue prints (especially about turrets) will be appreciated.</p> |

I think it would be great to use my Pantiger( front slope already modified). Pretty cool site as well. Thanks for sharing. Jim |

That was the first time I seen it....or atleast noticed it.
Same goes for this one. I like the unique tanks more than I do the original counter parts and this is one I'd love to tackle in the future. |

RE: MISTERIOUS TANKS...
The French AMX-50 that used or copied the lower hull of the panther. Never entered production. It's on the same page you seen the M10.
