Actually the Mugens in the video are MBX5's converted with a kit...Im a lil disappointed by that.. I might as well keep to my Kanai3 conversion project and save myself a few hundred dollars...Oh well.. either way imma have one fun truggy....

I got my jp-1 pipes in today and put one on the RR... This pipe makes this truck ungodly at low revs and now if i run the track like i usually do, I spin out in the corners Ill let ya guys know after i get a good tune on it tonight how it performs.

Pipe makes this truck SCREAM! Not much ouder if at all and the anodized finish will last a long time so i guess the extra $10 i spent was worth it. I could barely clear the 20 ft tabletop at my local track, but now if i want, i can land 10 ft past the jump... NICE!

My kit came in today for my Kanai 3 conversion. I must say the machinery on the lower aluminum arms are really nice..well built.. I can honestly say i dont see any durability issues with it at all.. It does have a little weight to it, but with the P5 and the OS-T2050 pipe im not worried...also i decided to use the HotBodies gearing instead of buying an additional gearing kit..lol..lol.. This was recommended to me by Native Racing and some local race pors.. Im also gonna order the JT RACING front/rear shock towers... So far the designing and engineering looks to be all in place and the RIGHT way to do this conversion... I have to wait a week or too on the HotBodies parts though before I can play...No one here supports them(LHS).. And i checked about 12 different Hobby shops in the MIAMI/FORT LAUDERDALE/WEST PALM area....Oh well...Mail order it is.... I should have some pix for you guys this weekend and keep updated posts about the build...

Hey CRAZY---- NIIIIIIICE PIPE!!!!!! Get us some video on that bad boy running!!!!

Click on the "post reply" button at the top or bottom of the page. Then there will be a upload files link under the text box and you can upload up to 4 pics at a time. Either that or link using the image button at the top of the box, click it before and after the link... hope this helps! Oh yea, and a pic of the black sheep of the RC family, the one that is mostly a shelf queen, but got dirty tonight... BTW thats a RB Modded Crono Turbo Race 7 port stuffed in there, soon to be replaced with a Modded Novarossi .28... I'm taking that fairly new $520 crono out for a $450 Rossi... Now you guys know why I'm called CRAZY CHRIS hahahaha

haha no idea, whatever my digital cam sends... Dont worry about them, being too big, they are thumbnails so when ya click on it they'll get bigger... Just put what ya got on there and it'll work... sometimes it gives you a error or does the "page cannot be displayed" but when that happens, close the window and open it again. Then do the pics one at a time and it should fix all of that mess...

Can anyone shed light on this,

Will the 23mm hex proline wheels work fine on my stadium rr . ie: turning cicle !
If not what upgrades would be needed to resolve the problem ?

Help plz

ORIGINAL: stonesavage

pipe looks crazy chris hey neil have you raced your mugavage yet! how's the overall handeling?
hi, i have not run it yet as i am waiting on a few parts i need to complete it including a collari .30 which i will be converting to non pull start. i also need to fit some anti roll bars and rebuild the savage shocks with new 20wt oil, although i may just decide to fit some nova mad shock towers i have laying around and use 4 rear mbx5 shocks instead, i may also need to do a bit more work on the rigidity of the truck by fabricating some extra CF braces

i have some more pics but i cant upload them at the min as there is something wrong with the upload feature, i will try and get them up later

23mm hubs WILL fiton these trucks. When my bowties burn up im going to do the 23 mm hubs and 40 series bowties. The bracing you guys are talking about.. i have pics somewhere, ill try to dig them up and post em. Noit that hard to do, but i like how this truck handles as is so im not going to do any bracing or anything until either something breaks because of flex or someone does it for me Oh and neil... try to upload the pics one at a time, sometimes you overload the thing and it goes to the "page cannot be displayed"

From the factory I have found both my ls and a friends rear brace had a little flex it was because of the bolts not being tight enough if you get the stock braces tight and put a few washers in the rear bulk!( da space were the brace sits in) thats all the bracing you will need. unless your in to slap mo ****e!

I found some pics of when i first got my pro... I put the Mugen pro spec rear links on it to "strengthen it up (mostly just messing around at the LHS) I put em on so a friend of mine that had a pro on order could test fit some things and just pretty much mess around a lil. This was when i first got my pro.... OS Vspec in there from my Mugen since i had just put a P% in the MBX5... The links look good, but didnt really have me goin. And i totally forgot i had done this. But yea, i hear it didnt really do anything to the truck and my bud that did this said it made it handle worse for some reason... O well.. heres the pics!

Ive only had the P5 in my Mugen MBX5... I pulled the .26 from the pro and dropped in the OS, then swapped it for a Crono which is now getting swapped for a Rossi... haha And the pro might have half a gallon thru it... The Pro is my shelf queen, the RR is my runner... I havent done much to the rr motor wise, just a pipe. As soon as the stock .26 takes a crap ill have a choice between a new Wasp .28, my crono or maybe even the OS Vspec... But this lil /26 is a good runner and still runs like a champ. But the few tanks i ran thru the Vspec it ran great and pulls hard all thru the pwoerband. Maybe i should drop the P5 in and see what that does... Who knows...
