Anyone know what the main differences are between the Hellfire and Lightning stadium?
Both look pretty similiar to me, I own the Lightning Stadium RR and love the truggy. Its a beast and I get to show up Revos/ Tmaxxes all the time
Was just wondering if there were any major differences between the two trucks

I did bend the front rear brace last weekend, but that was after driving full tilt into a post. Oweee. But that was the only damage. Bent it back straight and no problems. Just stay away from solid, non-moving objects.

to set the gear mesh use a small piece of note book papaer like 3/4 x 4-5 inches long fold over length wise then run the paper through the gears apply solid even presure to the gears using the head of the motor ( make sure the motor is straight ) then thighten screws--loose gear mesh seems better
started hacking away at the hellfire last night while havin a few bud lights at the shop last night. simple fix to tighten up front end.........had a titainium arm pin from a revo laying around hacked it in half and replaced front suspension pins on hell fire. stock pin .296mm lunsford revo pin .316 realy it took away like 80 % of the front end slop and no binding east fix
replaced rear hub carriers on hell fire with xray xb8 uprights.............the bearing in the stock carriers actualy was so sloppy that the back bearings fell out when turnd over. have to remove about 1/16 of inch on the back(inside) bearing set of new carrier not to hard of a job just take your time not to go to far slop gone plus more upper arm positions and another hole on bottom of carrier to help with role center....................................
i belive that replacing the shock caps and shock ends would be a great idea but not needed
this is a good truck i have had mine on display at our store and now we have four guys that are ordering one. therei s things that nneed to be improved on but is'nt there always
truck rating after replace items listed above B+
i'll try and get to the steering area of the truck later this week

I get them on ebay. You can get the whole diff for 25 bucks. It has to be the Mayhem ST for the same gear ratio and you will have to shim it a little because the case is a hair smaller. I havn't ran it with them in yet but I did try them for a fit and it looks like they'll work. What part of your diff got damaged?

Hey everybody,
I picked up a Hellfire about 3 weeks ago and I've been lovin' it ever since. This thing is a beast! Absolutely indestructable. Anyways, I was wondering if there was any way to put a two speed in this thing, or maybe even a three speed! Anybody tried to fit the HPI three speed Savage transmission in this? Is it at all possible?

Just a heads up, HPI has announced part number 85520 for the Hellfire wing. Only Horizon has the actual part on their site, but it isn't in stock yet.

tor into the hell fires guts tonight -==-=-=-=--= the center diff had some fluid in it but the rear was pretty much empty now running 7-30-3 front to rear in budys hf. switched mine to that tonight. rear end feels so good when bring truck back straight after pitching it through the corners soming on to and off the straight sections of the indoor track. soon will start messin with ecentric bushings nose does like to drop come off jumps. that will be an easy fix i hope
started to install extreme cf shock towers kinda a pain to get to fit need to remove close to a 1/8 inch of plastic off the top of the diff case in order to have them fit. both long screw on top going trought the shock towers into the rear of the bulk head stripped
TONY'S SCREWS.COM has screw kit for the hellfire........this guys stuff rocks
its getting hard not to drive this thing good thing we bought two. lol
i can do the same price as listed above w/ 20 for shippin pm if interested
