tor into the hell fires guts tonight -==-=-=-=--= the center diff had some fluid in it but the rear was pretty much empty now running 7-30-3 front to rear in budys hf. switched mine to that tonight. rear end feels so good when bring truck back straight after pitching it through the corners soming on to and off the straight sections of the indoor track. soon will start messin with ecentric bushings nose does like to drop come off jumps. that will be an easy fix i hope

started to install extreme cf shock towers kinda a pain to get to fit need to remove close to a 1/8 inch of plastic off the top of the diff case in order to have them fit. both long screw on top going trought the shock towers into the rear of the bulk head stripped

TONY'S SCREWS.COM has screw kit for the hellfire........this guys stuff rocks

its getting hard not to drive this thing good thing we bought two. lol

i can do the same price as listed above w/ 20 for shippin pm if interested

I finished up my CF top plate, shock towers, and center diff brace. I had to dremel of a little bit of the bulks as well. I also had to dremel the curve for the diff case on the shock tower. But it didnt take long at all.

Im running 7 10 3 diff wt. for now

As far as kick up i am at a total kick up of 6.5 and it seems to be working well. The ecentric bushing is a lower 5

The rear anti squat esentric bushing is a 0.

My spektrum DX3 is on its way!

Im still debating on which engine to go with. I leaning towards the OS.21 V spec.

In case some of you we're not aware, HPI has a clear hellfire body out now so you can put your own custom paint job on it. [link=http://www.hpiracing.com/bodies/bodyfocus.php?item=partnumber&value=7198]Click here[/link].

Also I was wondering if anyone knows the approximate top speed of the stock Hellfire. Thanks.

The April issue of RC Driver puts it at 34.02 mph in 198.37 ft and they use stalker radar.

Are the beadlocks on the heavy side? I heard they are heavy and caused a more pronounced gyro effect in the air causing a more nose high flight that needed alot of brake input to bring back under control. I hate to hit my brakes in the air, it stops all the forward momentum and I get passed too easy after landing and trying to get on the power. I've never seen these wheels though, they may be fine.

Has anyone tried to put HPI's 3-speed transmission or even a 2-speed in the Hellfire. I was talking about that with some of my friends today who have a Hellfire. I still haven't picked one up because Traxxas just announced the 3.3 engine for the Revo and want to know if they are going to have a 3.3 Jato. Grant it the Hellfire is nothing but torque, I've seen one race a Jato, off the line the Hellfire showed the power, but once they started going the Jato caught up and passed him. So what have some of you experienced who have tried or thought about trying to make that mod? Personally I like HPI more than Traxxas, but I want to get an off road racer that has low end power, but also can put out in the top end of things. Thanks.

This mod would be next to impossible....because the savage has a compleate transmishion and the hellfire simply has a center diff...

Yeah figured... besides (not to bash anyone who has one) most opinions about Traxxas that i've heard are that they are cr@p compared to HPI, Losi, AE and such... I've never owned one or driven one, it's other peoples opinions.
