Input Please

Hello,
I am planning on purchasing one of two truggy kits. My two choices are the Mugen MBX5T Prospec and the Ofna Jammin X1-CRT Kit. I really want to get into the racing scene so I want something race worthy that will keep up with everybody else. I also do some occasional baskyard bashing, nothing insanely intense. Which truck should I purchase? Please give me your input on these two trucks, thank you in advance!

Either of these 2 kits will run you over $1000 when done...if you try to cut corners then you'll only run into hard times and end up costing you more and more money later on...that said you cant go wrong with either truck...one is not better then the other...both are at the best of the best in the game...and it all comes down to driver skills.

I would recomend the Mugen mbx5t. If you go with the prospec version you will have nothing left to upgrade and if you went not prospec you should probably get a 1 piece motor mount. About $25 on ebay. The crt is also great but if you get really into it you might want to upgrade to a smaller center spur gear and that costs about $250, but that is if you get really into racing.

For me, this choice comes down to the track you're going to drive on. I like the Mugen on smaller tracks that aren't too rough, and the CRT on bigger, faster, rougher tracks where the CRT can stretch its legs. The Jammin is the most stable truggy out there, but it can't corner like the Mugen.

if you want to club race, buy a truck you can get parts for right there at your local track.
the jammin and prospec are both world class racers.. when comparing those two, it's more about the input on the transmitter.. go with either depending on what your local track stocks in parts..
