Well dude you own the truck, how does it run? Do you have it tuned properly? Plus are you really even going to give him your truck if you lose? Your parents might get mad.

Ya and if you win do you really want to take his truck?? Just set your truck really lean. Not lean to the point where it dies on a speed run but lean to the point where you kill him.

yeah, you have better off the line, handling, braking, stability, etc... the only the revo might be better at is top speed, but it will not be by much if at all. the 3.3 is not a higher rev at all, I think the 427 revs higher on the dyno then the 3.3 did the 3.3's max rpm on the dyno is only 37,000rpm, most 21's are in the 38,000-44,000 range.

A bit. Be sure you are running the largest insert or no insert for the carb.

The sportwerks is the same as the 427 but has a better carb so teh SW has a good edge ont eh stock 427. The SW is a screaming engine. You cant run no insert on the sportwerks. It wont run right. Use the 9.0mm insert. Make sure its break it in right and lean it out just for the race. Dont worry if your temps get up near 270-280 for the race. I think you will smoke him and the revo is also heavier too so you have that advantage too.

It appears to me that you own none of the aforementioned cars, and are just playing the "what if" game.

Here's my take on it....

Rather than a foolish race for a car worth hundreds of dollars that will end your relationship and probably get the looser grounded, why don't you bet that the looser is the winners pit/wrench man for a month or two. Anything that needs fixing, cleaning or tweaking the looser needs to perform it on the winners vehicle. This way it's a win win situation... it's a fun race with a friendly and educational outcome. The winner gets bragging rights, while the looser gets the experience of working on someone else's vehicle and now has additional skills in their pocket...

Think about it... and let me know what you think... I do it with my kids all the time and yes... I've been their pit/wrench ***** a bunch of times... LOL...
