Default HB lighting 2 sport conversion

Hi im getting back into this hobby and found a hb lighting 2 sport for really cheap, anyways what does it take to convert to a truggy im sure this topic has been beat to death but pls if i can have some input i would like to try to race it for fun so if it breaks it ok just want to have some fun with it. Is it just bigger tires or whole new setup. thanks for your time.

I don't know all the specifics, but you would need at least new wheels, tires, upper and lower arms, and longer drive axles. You may need other items like new shock towers, etc. Comparing the parts lists of the buggy and truugy would provide you a lot of info on what's different between the two.

Ok but what are the basic id like to keep this buggy it really nicely put together but Basically i could just put truck tires and mount up a body and still be competive . correct? Or should i just by a truggy. thanks

As I mentioned, "you would need at least new wheels, tires, upper and lower arms, and longer drive axles". That would give you the clearance and width of a truggy. It's up to you if you think the mods are worth it.
