The old Mach 28 was notoriously not so great. The 427, though "only" a .26, was much better. The new 28 is supposedly better(I heard..), but I'd still take a Mach 427 any day.. There is also a new red head Losi 26 Mach-replacement....

no, the axial motors are made by kingstar, and are the same as the k series from hpi. as stated earlier, the lrp is a sh motor, and much nicer.

Best sites in Germany I know of are:
www.seq-modell.de
www.buggy-land.de
www.shr-racing.de
www.hk-nitroshop.de
www.ebay.de too..
You should be able to find an LRP Spec 3 or so for €135 + shipping. €130 with luck..
Have to admit ignornance here, but I don't know if Sweden has the Euro or not(or is even in the EU - Norway's not, I know - but Sweden is, right?...) [:@] If it does, and if your sales and customs' taxes aren't too insane, it still might be cheapest ordering from the US.. The € to $ rate is pretty strong right now.. Check ebay.com for a Losi 454 or LRP Spec 3...
If you're in the EU, England might also be worth a look - then there are no extra VAT costs...
www.ebay.co.uk
Can't remember the big UK sites off the top of my head.. There are several good ones though.. www.apexmodels.com maybe.. And www.jespares.com .. The Pound to € rate is OK at the moment - not great, but OK....
EDIT - ps - the engine sold here in Germany known as the "SH Truggster" is identical to the LRP Spec 3 - I'm %92.48 sure.. Nosram also has an identical engine...
