First Kit what should i do!
Just bought my first RTR Brushless, but been reading a ton on there and looks like KIT is the way to go. I'm a newbie at this, but i feel i can follow directions on building one farily easy. I'm just curious whats a good starter kit, I'm looking for buggy truggy probally, i like the offroad bashing more then the asphalt grinding..
I'm up for either brushless or nitro
Gonna do this build slowly probally so dont worry about price to much but dont go crazy lol..
Mostly just bashing in the back yard/park
Will do most my part replacing and buying online. no good hobbie shop close to me that i have found..
Your suggesions would be greatly apprciated.
Like i said i'm new to this up for any advice..

Odonnel truggy, odonnel .21 ss, hitec7955mg servos and just a dx2s remote? Thats a bad ass set up. I run the hot bodies and love it, but odonnell is the best truggy/buggy quality wise and strength wise. Spend a little extra and do it right. Good luck.

Kits are the way to go if you race, if your just bashing what does it really matter, I would keep your RTR, tear it apart and put it back together. Up grade it as needed and just go and have some fun. The biggest difference in kits and RTR's are in the details..like the RTR comes with 3mm shock towers and the KIT has 5mm shock towers, it's not really going to make you much faster around a race track..but they do hold up better in a crash, RTR's are not as bad as they use to be. Just drive the RTR till you wear it out..

i would say get a odonnel truggy they are very durable ,not the fastest but durable. i run a mugen mbx6t truggy with clockwork racing ninja jx21. and dx2r specktrum radio with futaba servos.
