Hello: I didn't see this answered, but I would like to know which version of the Firgelli linear servo is being used for the Canopy. I know its the L-16 version, but is the 140mm (5.5inches) enough throw, or do they have a longer version I'm not seeing in their catalog.
I appreciate it.
Thanks,
James

Here are a couple of pictures of internal mods I did to assure the integrity of the forward fuse due to hearing of some damage caused to this area caused by "heavy" landings. I have also heard that this plane may need weight up front, so why not make it useful/structural!
These are 2" carbon fiber cloth strips placed a couple of inches apart laterally and the whole area forward of the front wing saddle formers covered with a layer of fiberglass cloth.

Well, got her on her feet today to check wheel alignment before mounting the gear fairings. It's looking a little too silver right now, I can't wait to get some paint on her!
The remaining cockpit parts should arrive tomorrow. Once I get the cockpit sorted, I'll be able to start final routing of all the wires and air lines.
Broke the 4-40 tap off today while tapping the holes for the gear fairings..........CRAP!!!!
The good news is that I finally have the inner gear doors working correctly! (I had them detached for the picture).
