I've seen some by others and she looked great Wayne. I like the job you did with the weathering on her.

Barely got through work today. I've been sick. This stinks. The weather could not be better. 75-80 and Sunny with almost no humidity. Perfect flying weather all week end, and I will spend it in bed probably.

Maybe I can fly my little helicopter around the bed room at least. OOPS, no. My wife is sick as well. No aviation allowed in the bedroom.

Those of us who only wish that we could do what you do, need to keep the dust flying.
After the months of work since theMonster event when you started on the new Corsairthrough finals week,
where you had to deal with finishing, test flying, and all the other issues that can happen and did happen at the event,
"You deserve a break today" Maybe even a couple of days.....then get back to work!
Doug is right!

Thanks guys. I haven't done any flying or building since getting home from Top Gun. Cleaned the shop a little bit, and been doing research for new projects. Would have been flying this week end had I not been sick. It was a good time to find some aviation movies on Netfix that have Zeros in them. I like to watch full scale planes in action to get a handle on how their gear operate etc. With electric gear, stagger and timing can easily be copied. Haven't been out of the house all week end.

Here is another picture to share from Top Gun. Vikie and Jerry from GetStencils.com. Nice folks to work with. They did the paint masks and graphics on Big Hog.

After Top Gun I traveled to Ocala to visit my parents.
Jerry and Vickie live about 5 miles away from there.
I spent some time with them at their home. Super nice
People and they supply a great product. I've used their
stencils and transfers many times with great results.
Highly recommended.

You have to use blind nuts. No way to get a tool on a nut with the gear in place. You may need to clear some material to make room for the blind nuts.

I can't get pictures to load right now (again). I'll try later.

I see your dilemma. That is set up for wood screws. I don't like it. Wood screws are not hardened like bolts. I would cut the block out under the rail to make room for the blind nut. You can add more supports away from the bolts, if you like, but the only reason those blocks are there is for something for the screws to thread into.

Ours does not have those blocks under the rails. I think CARF realized that wood screws were not sufficient and deleted them.

Cannot read german myself but pictures tell a good story. I did something similar with my Royal Corsair a few years back. Flew great and great colour scheme in the air.
