Actually I was hoping for something more like the Merry Prankster bus from ''One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest''!

I like the Red L one. The high demarcation line with the RLM colors look clean. Less cluttered than the others. Also I've seen a few of these done by others. Go for a different scheme. Challenge the Burley Skunk works.

Well I have been doing some more research on W. Nr. 110836 this was the plane I orginaly modeled for my Airworld 262. The documentaion I had at the time an what has been widely published shows it as red L. Well come to find out from newer more up to day studies on the plane now shows it to be black L. The plane was captured at the end of the war and Waton's Whizzers renamed it Jabo Bait. So now this is what they think it looked like before it was captured. But I can tell you for a fact I will not be doing the Jabo Bait scheme.
So it looks like also that the Black L is from the same unit kom1./KG51 that Ryan modeled Black X from if I am not mistaken.

Yes the one that Todd did for Rich is very nice. But I am wanting something that has not been done already. I already know for a fact that one of the planes will be the Czech scheme from after the war. But other I am sure will be black L UNLESS some one finds just something off the wall.

Black L is a very nice color scheme, me thinks. If it wasnt for the fact that Walther Nowotnys scheme is a bit boring, it would have been a nice choice too. As a celebration to Nowotny. He was a great man;

EDIT; I realised just now that Brian, aka "thunderbolt-RCU" has Nowotny's scheme.
There is a couple of interesting details in this story, like
"The following day, his aerial rampage continued: two P-40s, a P-39, and an LaGG-3. Nowotny was doing his part to reduce the American Lend-Lease equipment sent to Russia. "
And;
-"The flight leader on the ground, Hans Dortenmann, requested permission to take off to assist, but Nowotny said no, to wait. "
And;
-"Galland watched Nowi's approach, heard the sound of a jet engine, and saw his Me 262 A-1a (W.Nr. 110 400) "White 8" dive vertically out of the clouds and crash at Epe, 2.5 kilometres east of Hesepe."
And;
"After sifting through it, the only salvageable things found were his left hand and pieces of his Diamonds decoration. "
In one minute you are a top ace with the iron cross with diamonds and oak leaves.
In the next minute all that is left is your hand, and a wooden cross.
Good Grief!

Hey Todd!! Nice work on the 262. Glad to hear the Schubeler fans were chosen for this project. I remember the conversation we had about the best fans for this project after you saw the video of my Ziroli Panther flying on the Schubeler DS-77 HST .

Burley. Did you decide on the DS fan? How much thrust? Which ESC? Still stuck in the 12s world? I'm thinking 15s for my twin SU27. But hoping Castle may crack the 12s ceiling before I get ready to buy.

Todd...picked her up...so waiting to see what fans you go with. This will be twin as well....but I am thinking 15S, about time I get back CONUS and ready to start knocking this thing out it will be 6 months or so.......I am curious to see what on the market has...if Castle breaks the 15s World...or look to Jeti.
