Hrm...I don't see a staff badge or rank under your username...yet you act as though you're a moderator...Hah. You really, honestly, believe that being the OP means you can set rules? Sorry, bub. Don't work that way. Staff set rules, not thread posters, and there's no rules on the RCU rule page saying we can't post more than once or that our posts need to be 5 words or less.

I STARTED THIS THREAD
BUT some of you are taking it a little tooooo seriously
it is for pet peeves- not the world is ending

NEW RULE FOR THIS THREAD
YOUR PET PEEVE POST CAN BE NO LONGER THAN 5 WORDS

dont want to hear how you have been
mistreated
put down
lost your dog
your wife doesnt love you
warbirds are not scale-give me a break the word WARBIRD means scale
just your pet peeve
if you dont like the thread -DONT READ IT- and save us all your reasons WE DONT CARE

5 words and get out of the thread

and guys one one pet peave (or post) to a customer
So now who is the one being a sook?
So you don't like some of the posts here, WELL DONT READ THEM!!!!!!!!!
I'll give you a pet peeve, jerks that strut around like roosters at the field bossing people around telling them what plane looks good or not.
Does that ring a bell with you hellcat?
My WM mustang isn't scale but it's still a warbird same as my BH Stuka.
I have fun flying them, and yes I call them warbirds.

Bearcats flew in the Viet Nam war and I am sure there might have been a flight or 2 during the Korean war

We all started some where, & i'm sure that wasn't as a master builder, in Scale.
Each Scale /semi scale plane I build I am learning & trying something new & hopefully getting better & wiser, if you built the perfect 100% scale model where would you go from there ?.At the end of the day if your happy with what your've acheived who cares what anyone else thinks.
From my short experience in the hobbie the knockers are ussaully the ones with the worst built & flying model's at the field.....that is if you ever get to see them ![:-].
Sorry if this post is too long or about my feeling's.It's also my second post in this thread.

RAM-BRO is right about the bearcat

3136-if people do that to you at your flying field
your hanging with the wrong crowd- find someone else to play with

I know it is popular to say I go to the field and people are mean to me and say bad things about my plane
I only know from my short experience(45+years) at flying fields i have been to
but everybody seems pretty nice down here in the south
we welcome guys and I cant think of anybody that every makes fun of someone else's plane
must be a southern thing-are there jerks in the world yes
but put on your big boy pants and ignore them

"Yeah, ya screwed up the switches and the colors are off and the gun breaches should be whole guns or why bother and........" I can hear the "usual suspects" already.

3D planes are for the Hardcore fliers
Warbirds are for the "buffs"

Hey, PSJDBF, that really is a nice cockpit!

I know, I know, should have fixed the cockpits in all my warbirds to such a standard.... But you know how it is;

You want to fly it, you discover some gremlings at work...you fix that...there is some damages...you fix that....another plane is buildt...

Same with that one....maybe next winther!

The scale outline of the cowl is good, but the fuselage is not at all accurate. Let me get on Google to be sure.
