It could also be a Pica (bought the line from Platt) which had a few minor mods from the original. It's a good flying model. I built one back in 1974 from the original Platt kit.

I'd say its a Plat kit or Pica. Both looked the same. The graphics are identical to the Plat kit.

I have a Pica 88". Do you think a NGH 35R would pull this around nicely?

Nope, because after you add about 2 to 3 pounds up front to balance it WILL fly like a pig . I had a G38 in mine with about 2 lbs of weight. Pig it was. Pica kits build a bit heavy. A 50 would be much better.

Don't hold your breath waiting... He hasn't posted here in several years. He is a young kid who started many of these "brotherhood" threads. I'm not sure what a brotherhood is that it requires permission from someone to be one?

Tower says late September but I have another item I was waiting on that was Late August then went to Late September and may go to Late October. Sounds like a supply chain problem or a cash flow crunch like much of the hobby industry is experiencing.

I'm in need of the manual for Top Flite Spitfire MkIX Kit .61-.75,63". I know I can download one but would like the paper copy.
Let me know if you have one in good or new condition and how much you want for it shipped to zip 19526.

I took my 1/5 scale spitfire out yesterday for what might be the last flight of the year now that the Temp. is starting to get a bit to dam cold for me here in Kansas . Once it gets below 50 I stop flying my 71 year hands don)t like it anymore bummer .I can only hope for some warmer days ahead .So all you Brothers in the south keep on wit the post .I like reading them and keeping up with what is new in the world of Rc spitfires.
