RE: Spitfire Brotherhood (All Spitfires Welcome)
Hi Brothers;
I am back online now with my new computer!!! The smartphone was good but not like my main computer.
Chad;
Again thanks for the great work on the Brotherhood patch. I love them and one is in the back window of my Ford Escape next to the AMA patch.
WARBIRDRCER,
Please let me know my total bill on the T-Shirt and I will pay with Pay Pal!!
Thanks.

RE: Spitfire Brotherhood (All Spitfires Welcome)
I love the Brotherhood! Spitfire's the Original Brotherhood, too. The latest member of my squadron, a little Micro ParkZone Spitfire with AS3X stabilization for a hundred U.S., just flew into the hangar yesterday. I'll post some pictures later.
Again, The Spitfire Brotherhood: Wisdom from veteran flyers that welcome and help us newbs, take us under your wings, even T-Shirts and original vinyl decals and tricks along with the teachings!
Proud to be a small part of a great group of flyers!
Hey, YOU guys DID build this!!!

Here couple pictures from a formation flight with Frank Noll flying Brian O'Meara Spitfire.
It was taken this past weekend at Warbirds over the Rockies.
The Spifire in the back is my 42 lbs Comp Arf powered with a 3W85Xi CS, not sure about the weight but the other is the same model that used to be manufactured by Fiber-Classics which is powered by a ZDZ100 twin in line.
I hope you'll enjoy the shots!

Sonny,
How is the TF 1/7 Spitfire coming along? Your P-40 from our P-40 Brotherhood thread looks great.

The build is going!!! Lots of sanding to do now. I see you and your son are moving along real good. Did you do any glass work?? I am thinking about glassing the wings and the fuse. If I do the glass, than I will paint her, if not, than I will go your route. Can not wait to see how yours come out!! Many thanks on the P-40. I will keep you updated on the build!!

Steve,
Here are a few shots of her standing on your own two wheels. Sorry for the yard. We had rain for the last 3 months and they don't know when we will!! At my club field, we have put a hold on all gas models untill we get some rain!!
More pictures to come as the build move on!!

RE: Spitfire Brotherhood (All Spitfires Welcome)
Have been flying models for over 30 years and have always had the warning that Spitfires were only for experienced fliers.
Anyway bit he bullet and bought a HK foamie and have to say its a lovely flier with no tip stalling or twitchyness .
Here she is flying.

RE: Spitfire Brotherhood (All Spitfires Welcome)
Please sign me up for the Spitfire Brotherhood. I have a Hanger9 Spitfire with a Saito 100 and Keloe exhaust. It was my first attempt at weathering and came out pretty nice. What a sweet flying airplane she is!!!
I learned of this site after joining the P40 Brotherhood.
thank you

Also welcome to the Brotherhood!!! We have the same plane and setup!! Look back in the thread and you will pictures of her. Right now I am building the Top Flite Spitfire kit. Iwas going with the DLE 20cc gas engine but did not want to do a hack job on the cowling.
Again, welcome to the hood!!!

RE: Spitfire Brotherhood (All Spitfires Welcome)
Well guys, I guess I"m back in. I just bought a ESM 50cc spitfire. I am putting together a Rascal 110 right now just to have something to fly for now, Just about done. I will start on the spit for a winter project. With a cockpit kit and custom exhaust I do not want to rush it. Its not a kit build but it will do.

RE: Spitfire Brotherhood (All Spitfires Welcome)
Here is the big girl at Warbirds and Classics over the Miwest, Fond Du Lac, WI, 2012. No cowl, as the engine is still breaking in and I do not yet want to risk an overheat. The ZDZ210 inline is a great motor with the right prop. Now I will begine working (slowly) on the CompARF Spit I bought back when they first came out.
