Really like the collared & pocketed shirt nomination, and the flag & roundel really seem a good contrast to the blue in pitcure 3.
That's my vote!
BoneMadDerek, Don't mean to change the subject, but have a Saito FA115, as yet unrun, and wondered of your engine change to an OS FS110a. Would like your thoughts on the 2 engines.

I'm in for a shirt whatever the color. I'd prefer it not to have a collar but that won't be a deal breaker for me.

I like color #3 also. When I go to an event, I want to stand out, not blend in 
Also, the collar is fine with me as with a pocket. My only concern is how its made. Light weight material and most shirts that fit me have too short of a tail. I wear a 2x and long tail. Im long waisted
...not wasted...LOL.

The Spitfire did indeed fly during the show and the sight and sound were spectacular. There were a number of different Spitfires which were tested with contra-prop set up during the war but the only version that ever saw production was the post-war FR.47 Seafire. The one in my pictures is a photo recon Mk.XIX which had the original engine and prop replaced with units taken from an Avro Shackleton patrol bomber. Apparently the original 5-bladed wooden propeller is very hard to come by and VERY expensive so the decision was made to swap it for the relatively much more common Shackleton power package. The airplane has since been sold to a new owner in France who has returned it back to stock condition.

I think Mick is the only place you can get it from. or you could try the clark cowl and canopy.

Possilby a member could pony up a couple wooden beer barrels. Looks like JOEJ Jr Canadian of course. Just pop a couple of
those maple leafs on the kegs for authenticity. and of course a maple leaf somewhere on the pocket of the shirt

Just finishing up my Ziroli Mk 1a Spitty. This is one is built from the first plan set that Nick sold of the Spit.
I will be finishing mine as DW-K. My buddy is finishing his too as DW-O.
Robart prototype Retracts designed specifically for the new spit, not the Yellow retract version that is recommended.
Robart Wheels, ZDZ 80 for power and all Hitec Servos.
Builders note: The parts Nick sells (which are very good) are for a Mk Vb only. So I made a new Front windscreen, exhaust stacks and oil cooler.
Will post pics of finished Spitty in the next month.

Hi Chuck! Your Spitty looks fantastic but, I must ask, are you planning to fly it inverted all the time?!!! Can't wait to see pics of the finished airplane.
