Mirce,

I have gone back and hand painted every rivet on the plane as i went along with the application of your rivet set. It was a PITA to do it this way but i think it made it look a bit more worn that way.

I will be doing another project at some point in the near future and i will be sure to order more of the rivets for it and i will apply them before i paint the plane this time.

On my web site I offer Detail Sets from models I made.
Picture or drawing are not precise enough for making details. OK, on some position it work, but on curve of the fuselage you need to have model if you want to made detail in right size.

So, for P 38, or any other model, I can made set, but need to have dimension of every detail.

Maybe, easier way will be to send me how much, for examples, you need circles and diameters of it, how much rectangle with dimension, and so on...
In that case, I'll made those detail, add rivets and dummy screws, so you can later apply it on your model.
But, as I told, first step must made you, sending me e-mail with dimensions and number of parts. I don't need drawings, just number and dimension of parts...

Price will be same like for every Detail Set - 55,00$ + shipping ( 15,00$ world wide )...

Best regards

Mirce

Hello Chris, thanks for kind words about my products.

When I paint my Meister Scale P 47 I used polyurethane colors. They are basic colors without gloss. At the end my friend, painter, apply 60% gloss clear cote. That % give shine as much as it need to be....
Now you can mix colors with shine % as much you want...

On my Ziroli Panther, when I first time paint it, we used 20% gloss. That was almost without any shine, to much lackluster...

Regards

Mirce

Hello , i am one happy customer from Mirce's products!
This guy is very good at what he makes and a very nice person too!

I am currently buildind a VMI AT6 TEXAN 1/5 scale, very similar to Zirolli , Byron or Yellow Aircraft.
i have just finished applying Mirce's finishing set of vinyl rivets of 0.8 , 1,2 and 1,5 mm diameter.
i am looking forward to paint the model as soon as i finish my scale detailing inside the cockpit....
