Jeff, you are the man!!!!
One thing. The switch to the Moki from a 3W 80cc engine has been a complete joy for us. I can't believe the difference in the performance. The top end has increased by maybe 10 mph, and she now has the power to pull up and over the biggest most realistic loops you can imagine. I didn't know what to expect other than the wonderful radial sound. She is now the P-47 I has always hoped for.
Will you be using the Moki 250 in the 1/4 scale?
cheers,
Gary

Rick, thanks for the add in. I watched the videos so sorry about the hanger 9. I have been keeping my eye open for one of those. The P-47 is one of my favorites, I do prefer the razorback version.

Will you be using the Moki 250 in the 1/4 scale?
cheers,

Gary first of all I hate I missed meeting you in Atlanta this year. I havent missed that trip in 5 years but life got in the way. The quarter scale is starting with a quadra 200 twin. After the first season if all is well a 250 is the plan. We are building the quarter scale as the toughest lowest maintenance plane that we can. Our goal is when we are at fly-ins to hog the air and let all our buddies fly it. Dino hates that I try stuffing so much battery that I don't have to charge all day! He likes to charge after every flight, I wanna just fuel up without killing the engine! Jeff
I know what you mean with batteries. I piled batteries in Zombie and went to Monster Planes. Didn't charge her all week!!! I checked them, but they simply did not need charging. Brain charged them when I got back and they still had almost half their load left. All A123s. Those batteries are the bomb.
Hope I get a crack at that big Jug. You will need to reverse the elevator though. You know I fly backwards. I push forward to go up. :O Been flying that way for 45 years. Crazy thing is, I fly full scale as well. The mind can work in mysterious ways.
I do think that the radial in a round engine plane does what the gas turbine has done for jets. Hope she is a success and that she gets her radial. :-)
