Yes that's dry but the weight is wrong. I had one of the balance arms backwards. It now works out to 1,5 kg or 3 pounds 4 ozs at 6" back, about 150mm. Is that within CMP's recommendations?
Also do you balance upright with gear extended or inverted with gear retracted?

Joe, whatīs the weight of your Zero? The mine is about 11kg, and the CG is 135 mm from LE. But maybe I will move it to 110 mm.
So, your last name is Fiala or Fialovy?

Joe are you sure that's the 50cc Zero? It looks a little small to me, like it's the smaller version from CMP. I could be wrong

Prekin, say how does the CMP Zero hold up and what if any weak spots? How many flights do you have on yours..??

I had one with Sierra Retracts about 5 years ago, never got it out of the box, I sold it to a guy in Houston Texas.

I have a NIB DLE 55cc with an On-Board Electric "Push a button on your transmitter" starter which should help with the nose weight some..!! BTW, I Love the Pictures..!!

In my opinion the weakest spot is the weight of this airplane. My Zero is still waiting for a maiden flight. I hope I will fly her this season. She is ready, but last season I didnīt have much time for flying.

MAC is mean aerodynamic chord, not what you stated. CG on the CMP Zero 80" is approx 5 1/2- 6 inches from the leading edge of the wing at the fuselage which is the root chord. Just wanted to clarify your statement (:

I just did a side by side size comparison with the CMP and the Top flite Giant Zero cowls and the are very close in all dimensions. The top flite cowl will fit the CMP Zero and it comes with a dummy radial.....

I hope someone flying this model is still watching this thread... I need help to continue my build.

I am using the supplied motor mount box which has the thrust angle built in. The issue I have is that my Fuse came without any Hash marks, which the build diagram has me believing that there should be...to align the motor box too?? Does anyone know how much I should offset the mounting box to the LEFT of the center whole of the Fuse? or what I should do to figure this out? This is to recenter the engine after having a thrust angle in place, correct? I am using a DLE55 rear exhaust.
