Did you get a disclaimer with the plane that advises against using the supplied hinges?? The RCU Universe review of the GSP Spitfire mentions it. I must have read this review a tousand times. I love spitfires!
I forget that the Zero specs for a larger engine than the spit even though they are the same wingspan. Don't necessarily know why that is, especially since they are the same weight with comparable wing loading.
I fear I may end up with a hangar full of these CMP warbirds...

Only 25% bigger Well at least you wont have to worry about actually flying that zero on the wing just point and pull the throttle. Stalled or not that 150 will yank it into the air.

you think so?
the reccomeded motor is a 120 4st. A 150 isn`t THAT much larger.....

Hmm.....doesn`t sound that bad after all :-)
Throttle management....... I only want to fly in a scale maner.
Didn`t the real Zeros have a good thrust to weight ratio ?

SJN can i ask does that Bomb attach to the wing or the fuse ?
As if its the fuse it might cause a problem for me transporting it [X(] as it prob wont make it lay flat...... if so i guess i will just leave it off

Its glued to the bottom of the wing.
you could easily glue some nuts on the droptank, and drill holes through the wing , and insert long screws through the top of the wing.

Im going to fly from grass too.
The gear struts are from my Jet, and are too short for the Zero
Ground clearance will improve alot with the proper struts.
I havn`t installed the servos yet, thats why no pictures yet [8D]
Ill see what I can do about a pilot.....
