RE: Sportman avaitaion P40 update
Looks great. I've had mine for about two years. Flies with Saito 100 and upgraded to B&D Mechanical retracts with the high torque JR retract servo. Recovered in flat olive drab monocote and sprayed tan cammo LustreCote with flat grey bottom. Great flier, very lite and no complaints. Have you flown yours yet?

RE: Sportman avaitaion P40 update
Thanks , I flew it in the original version and itflew great , very light and a great flyer .
I hated the covering so once I took it off I realized that it was built very well, so I worked on the rotating gear firtst , added flaps , interior and corrected the tail outline .
All I really have to do now is add put it back together but I want to glass certain high stress areas of the wings where I added the 90degree retracts .
These were great planes but hobby people should have used the correct color and gear and they woudl have had a great seller .
I will keep updating as I build more ,I was just finishing a global p47 in the ARF section
