Those are the ones. They will fit with a little modification and will handle a plane up to 18lbs. Others in here have used them. I put some on my P-40 recently and they are light years ahead of Robarts 615

Aloha Guys,
I have a set of Sierra Retracts in my F6F and I can't say enough good about them. More then worth the money and will turn a mediocre landing, into a solid pro wheel landing. Its amazing how they take up the bounce that was due...but instead...smooth it out and let your model roll out perfectly.

I have the interior kit and tank , its the best one , best value ever in RC .
If anyone in this thread needs one , trust me you will never get a interior kit like what Luke Zolnerr was making , his work is second to none .
He is some threads now days , low key , I think some old timers were staukling him he went underground in RC, his talent and cost that he was selling things was second to none .
Super talented guy but I guess ( can only assume ) need some privacy

I recall the fire those interior kits were starting ! EVERYONE wanted one.
My father in law was a businessman in the food business most of his life, he always said " If your KILLING yourself to keep up.. you aren't charging enough ! " hahahah This may have been one of those cases.

My only issues with the sierra gear for the CMP 70 thru 74" is that they should have longer struts and they dont , they are made to fit a 65" plane thru 74" and you cant tell me the prop range is the same .
I have the sierra gear for my CMP 73" P40 and the struts and limit prop options .
I wish Sierra would take the same base format and add a longer strut

He is pretty laid back, my last parts order he was just going to send me a bill with the parts but offered to pay with paypal. I'm sure he could work up a ball park # or perhaps adapt a Robart strut?

Gentleman,Hello too you all, I just found this thread a few days ago and all I can say is WOW! this thread is a treasure troth of information! Dionysusbacchus, HalH you are awesome builders
I just acquired partially built CMPro Hellcat with a Crrpro 26cc and Robart 615 100 degree retracts from a friend who's getting out of the hobby, the best part it was free.
Anyway I will be repainting the Hellcat and adding some detail nothing like I have read on this post, just some panel lines and weathering.I would like to find a scale cockpit and drop-tank [Luke Zollner] and since I'm dreaming landing gear doors would be nice too...I have 2 canopies by Dion 1 painted and one unpainted,so maybe someone need a canopy and has a spare cockpit kit squirreled way, maybe we could trade or I'll purchase what you have...Cheers: and happy building Rich

Rich , I dont want to speak for anyone , I know he is on the other major site in the Hobby King Giant Spitfire set , he does not really talk about the old days .If you look in this thread there was another guy Hal Humphrey that was also an advid builder bashing the Hellcat along with Dion. I know that Hal has passed and was up in age , I would allow Hal to call me and shoot the breeze on RC tips but I think he tried the same with Dion , dont know the story but know that it did not seem like a good situation , perhaps he called too much but I know that for a long time Dion was non existant in any thread and he has the talent to really be a Top Gun competitor, really just a matter of what he wants or does not want to do .
I have a kit semi built along with my hellcat , hoping to get back to it soon
