AT-6 Hangar 9 retracts

Default AT-6 Hangar 9 retracts

[8D]These retracts appear to have a design flaw in that the strut mounting causes the struts to tow inward and the coils on the struts also hit the plastic wheel housing. The strut mount relative to the pivot is also too far inward thus they do not retract fully and are towed inward and thus unstable when fully extended. I installed Hobbico 40 size which are at least as heavy duty as the Hangar 9s. If you trim the mountigg plate by the mount holes and trim 1/4" from the outboard section of the wing, they are an easy installation. good luck
