Zenoah G 62 exhaust pipes.
I've got a Yellow Aircraft P 47 Jug that had scale exhaust. This set up was robbing tooooo much power. I need some help in locating a muffler that is small enough to run the exhaust straight out the bottom of the cowel. I have a Brisson pipe in there now and if inverted the cowl will not fit evev if i cut down the exhaust. Do you guys know where to get odd ball shape and sized pipes??
Thanks.
Thanks.

Got an idea [sm=idea.gif]
Go to your local ACE hardware store and check out the flex metal gas lines used to hook up the kitchen 'gas' range.
Install it in YOUR Thunderbolt and let me know how it works out AND if it works out then I will do the same install to mine with a ZDZ80 single cylinder installed with a Super Sonic inverted pitts muffler.
Seriously it has long occured to me what little work is required to run exausts out of their scale positions!"that is in the case of the Jug.
I'm gonna take a picture right now of mine I used a toasted ZDZ60 to do the inital install and like I said it will have an ZDZ80 with scale exausts after "we"work it out.
Another thought occured go to AeroTech's web site and have a look at their scale exhaust set up for the P-47 they sell.
