Default Which engine??

I need some advice as to what size and brand engine do I need for my GP 40 Corsair. I modified the kit a bit and it should weigh in arond 7lbs. I want to be sure I have enough power and reliability. Is there a rule of thumb for calculating hp to weight ratio?

Ace......an OS46 or TT46pro would be a good choice. I had a mustang with the TT46pro and it was very fast. If you like the sound of a 4-stroke, the Saito 50 would be a nice fit.

I am in the process of finishing a GP 40 Corsair....tried to work in the OS 70 four stroke...anyway it mounted, it was just too large for the plane ...it always looked cobbled up, and the muffler was a real problem.....went with an OS46 and a pitts muffler...all inside the cowl, and a neat installation... any 2 stroke up to a 53 would work fine in this plane...i know a four stroke sounds more scale, but.......
