Had a chance to go to El Monte warehouse. First, they had no solid update on the arrival of the P-40. Nice people.

Heres what I did. looked at the 70" Zero, 70" P-51D, and 53" P-47. They had the 70" spit but didn't see it.

Although I have never had an arf, and I must build my composite models with scale accuracy, for $200.00 for 70' glass fuse model, wings covered , painted, hardware pack, airfoiled stabs and drop tank, I bought one. Maybe will buy another. The construction and scale accuracy for what they charge for what you get is, well a waste of time to build myself . Its too nice. So I thought, I can begin to bolt on my engine and other hardware right out of the box and maybe do the "fun" stuff, wheather, personalize it a bit.

The P-51D looked nice also, although I didn't see the fuse, but if its like the zero, its awsome.May get one of those but I have the Holman glass fuse 69" one already. I'll try to go back Monday for the spit and P-51.

The 53" P-47. fuse looks more like a Brewster Buffalo, not too scale.

I have an OS 108 and a RCV 120. I'll use one of those.

LDM

From LAX your around 50- 60 mlies away. From Ontario Airport maybe around 45 miles. Its in El Monte. Raiden Tech 9648 Alpaca St. S. El Monte, Ca. 91733
(626) 443-8997 Fax (626) 350-6383. Open 12-6 M-F Raidentech.com

At this point you can't beat the quality for its price and size of 70" span. I may get the 70" P-51D monday. Thats if I can't wait for a P-40

FFDG , I dont think that will happen , but from the looks of your address you should be about 60 mins from GSP , they are getting this plane in Mid May , you can drive over and save the freight . Call for delivered price so you know they wont play games when you get there to pick up , there should be an FOB price with savings !!!!!
That is what I am doing .
