Going to order one of these next week.

Got a brand new ASP FS91AR to go into it.

Hoping this will allow me to run a decent sized 3 blade prop. Otherwise a 14x6 two blader should look good anyway.

Anyone know roughly what size 3 blade prop I can run on the 91 4 stroke?

Still not sure wether I will go with fixed gear or retracts. Dont want to add too much weight to the plane as its wing loading is going to be fairly high with the .91 4 stroke anyway?

I wouldn't worry about weight too much... mine weighs in at 9.0lbs (19.8 kg). Mechanical retracts are a pain so I went with the Robart 615's. They are not pain free either but much more robust than the mechanicals. Plus they rotate 100 degrees and get those wheels farther out in front of the CG. This helps eliminate nose-overs.

Can't help you with the motor/prop questions...

Thanks for the information chalmrast. I will look into the 615's.

When you say 9lbs is 19.8kg I think you mean 9 pounds = 4.08 kilograms.

hehe.

Hehehehe.

I am hopeless at conversions so it took me a bit of head scratching to figure out why those two weights didnt look right

Mike,

You probably saw my post over at RCG but I get my CMP planes from AK-Models. I have bought 5 planes from him... never had a problem.
