Where did they get the cannon pods from? I don't see that as an option on the KMP site.

post amended, cos i got it completely WRONG! sorry

as for engines, it would be difficult to completely cowl a motor, as the fuselage is fairly streamlined at the front,(spinner is 41/2 diameter to give you a guide) ian is fitting the RCV 91, one gent on here is fitting the 120s it wont need loads of power

HI:
The gun kit will be posted on our website very soon www.kmp.ca

The price for the kit will be 99.00 for the aluminium and pre painted fiberglass kit. Its very easy to install. When I installed the kit I did need to add some hardwood blocks and threaded inserts to help with the mounting bracket.

Hey Alan C.... How are the resin parts coming for the Typhoon? Lets get Ian working double time so all the customers can have those extra detail components for their models.

Regarding the engine suggestions, I think the RCV 91 is a very suitable choice. The new 1.30 from RCV would turn the model into a rocket ship and also require further cutting of the cowl.

Cheers,

I've already ordered my JU-87 and I plan to electrify using an Axi 5345/16 motor, CC HV-110 ESC and a 10s2p battery made from Dewalt A123 cells.

Short of using an OS FT or Saito twin, no other engine will make it sound like a scale Stuka but where the Axi is capable of spinning an 18x12 3-bladed prop at scale rpm's it should have some good stock sound from the prop noise. One advantage of electric is no cleanup after flight and no engine bits hanging through the cowling.

Well here is you airscreamer
http://server6.gs-shop.de/200/cgi-bi....htm&PKEY=8674
you then need to click on the (sonderzubehor') word on left isn't cheap though![:-] comes in 3-pitches and looks to be the same as te I4 products.
you can also find the web site by looking in the source guide in M.A.N.scale specials.... They also have amazing cockpit stuff, like nothing I have seen!

ORIGINAL: kinverflyer

Does anyone know where to get the sirens from, I have tried I4C Products, they say they have no plans to manufacture any more, I think we need some people pressure, start sending them some emails http://www.i4cproducts.com/air_screamer.htm

Mr. Condor,
And what about a molded set of engine exhausts for the lovely Stuka kit? Something to replace those cheesy copper strips! Or at least some way to build the simulated exhausts up.
Sounds like you had one of the kits at hand! Please, please post some dimensions-Cowl length, cowl height at max height point. I can infer that the cowl is 4.5 inches at the pointy end.
many thanks,
hookemut

Hi kochj,
WRT the siren, I find that the 'Dora', which is the version that KMP offers, seem to have removed and faired over that feature. Perhaps when tank busting, the shriek was overtaken by the 'craaack' of the 'panzerknacker'.

HI Guys:

Great News! The first batch has arrived. The container will be unloaded by Tuesday and we can begin shipping Wednesday. The wait is finally over.

I will try and contact the siren manufacturers to see about at least one production run. I'll keep everyone posted on my results. I think if others express the same interest to the siren manufacturer by e-mailing them, we can work together to put pressure on them to make one more batch perhaps.

We will be posting pictures of a new functional exhaust that KMP will be carrying. The cast exhaust should be a more or less perfect fit and allow smoke to come of out of both sides.

Cheers,

Mr Kondor,
Well, happy unpacking!! Have a bit of merchandise to get out now! I would very much like to know if there are Ju 87 kits available for immediate purchase in the current container load?
Your news wrt the functional exhaust is interesting, and of course leads to the question -with which engines? I still hope to receive the front end measurements which I asked for.
Thank you for your help,
hookemut

ICheers,
Hi,
Well, Tuesday has come and gone, I sincerly hope that nothing is amiss with the much anticipated container! Surely it didn't contain potholders and dishware vs the Ju-87s? Geeze, this is worse than what I remember of the days before Christmas!
Wish we were closer and could lend a hand.
Eagerly,
hookemut

Hi all,
Ever hear the old saying--"be careful of what you wish for--it may come true!!?
Mine arrived on 3 April, am now ankle deep into the swamp and am finding many alligators!! Am hoping that the end result will be worth the cost and effort! Whatever you do, don't expect any help from the so-called manual!!
