NEW Warbird By KMP - JU87 Stuka
Hi Everyone:
I'm pleased to announce the soon to arrive Stuka ARF to our line up. The first batch will be arriving just before the Holidays if everything goes well.
Hopefully we'll have it on display with the new Hawker Typoon Mk1 which will be on display in at the IHOBBY Expo in Chicago.
The wingspan will be around 73 inches and air retracts will be included. I will post pictures ofthe Stuka after I return from my factory trip in China.
Cheers,
Andrew Kondor

I could be mistaken, but I believe the Stuka is designed by another designer other than YT International. Hopefully it will look just as nice and scale as the YT designed warbirds.

It will be up to YT standards, and will only be released in the UK when we have done trying to break the prototype, model is expected for evaluation and box art purposes soon, only when we are satisfied, and the usual niggles are got rid of, will we order a kit run for the UK, trouble is, we have many irons in the fire, and some, we would like to keep to ourself for a while!!
but i promise you, you will like the surprises we have in store, IF we can keep them as surprises!!!!!!!!!

Hi Everyone,
These pictures are the first set I recently took fresh from China. With the permission of the factory I can now post these pictures for everyone to have a glimpse at the amazing detail offered in this brand new all composite model.
The wing Span is 78.5 inches.

Wow,
That is looking pretty good. It looks like Dora version? Are they planning on offering the cowl for the B version? I reckon they are the best looking stuka you can get!
What size engine is it designed for? at that span i would guess a 20-50cc gasser?
thanks

The Stuka looks great, Andrew. I was hoping for the Dora, as I have a Ziroli Ju 87B.
I'll keep following this thread for info on a release date.

RE: NEW Warbird By KMP - JU87 Stuka
It just blows me away That KMP does not do the research and come out with the planes at least 80" wing span. If I see one under I won't look twice. I only fly at IMAA size events. I have discussed this with KMP and they blew me off. I have their 96"OV-10 and Love it. I even had 3 friends buy the OV-10 because they liked mine. The size was perfect. I understand its hard to sell a 100" model to everyone. But an 80" model works to both the sides of the coin. Its crazy to go 78.5" and not 80"
It just does not make for good business to scale a plane to cut away 1/3-1/2 more business...

its so close to 80 inches, are they really gonna take out a tape measure and say, "sorry, you cant fly it" at the event?
just build it, show up at the event, and dont draw too much attention to yourself

RE: NEW Warbird By KMP - JU87 Stuka
Hi Everybody:
The reason we keep our planes under 80 inches is that that in almost evcery case we would be out of the 1.20-1.40 engine range. For now we are not focused on the IMAA specs for the WWII birds. Soon we will have a new range of models which will be 35-50CC. These new all composite models will be suited perfectly for large scale events. The details of these models will not be released until mid summer 2007 so please hang tight.
Cheers,
Andrew
