Dave,

Sorry to hear about you field being closed down. Ours are still open and I hope to go flying today when it warms up a bit. Is 1mm balsa what we call 1/32 here in the USA? Just a question because I have to order some for the wheel area.

1/32“ is 0,794mm so that would work.
One side i made with 1,5mm this would be 1/16“ but thats very difficult to bend to this radius

Weather here is West Tennessee in 55 degrees. Clear with 5 mph winds. Nice day for flying.

Dave,

Glad to see you are back at it. I got distracted and haven't paint my Zero yet but it is all prepped and ready for paint. I have been working on some WW1 1/4 scale Fokker Dr1 that I started and it has take some time. I will be back on the Zero in about a month. Your build is looking really good. Please keep it up

Very nice looking forward to watching your maiden. I am completely recovering mine and going to paint it in the early 1941 IJN colors.

Default Getting closer for maiden

Hello,

Because of its bad quality, i decided to deep draw a new canopy. Now that i molded it, a have a plaster mold to do this. 🤗

next step is to get ready the sequencer door for the tail wheel and the main landing gear doors…

i unfortunately have to ad arround 1kg nose weight to get to cg of 155mm.
