RE: Project BF-109 E 4 1/5
I think you may have out done yourself this time Rumen!! - everything you build is the work of a master artisan, but I especially like this mould! The openings in the tail and wing saddle make a great trimming edge and allow easy access into the tail without splitting the mould down there - very nice! But the best part is the integrated rudder bearing block in the tail!! Very, very nice design. It just keeps getting better....

Hi again guys ,today here in Bulgaria we have a national holiday ,the day of aviation ! So ,I whant to present a little story of one of our Bulgarian hero in aviation Asen jordanov or an America like "jerry""
[sm=thumbs_up.gif]
Assen "Jerry" Jordanoff (Bulgarian: ÐÑен ХриÑтов Йорданов) (born Asen Hristov Yordanov, September 2, 1896, Sofia, Bulgaria – d. October 19, 1967, White Plains, New York) was a Bulgarian American inventor, engineer, and aviator. Jordanoff is considered to be the founder of aeronautical engineering in Bulgaria, as well as a contributor to the development of aviation in America.
He occupied a distinct place among pilots of his time, the golden age of airmenship; in America, Jordanoff gained almost legendary status for his many roles as test pilot, airmail and air taxis pilot, stunt pilot, and flying instructor.
He worked as an engineer for a number of companies, including Curtiss-Wright, Boeing, Lockheed, North American, Consolidated, Chance-Vought, Douglas and Piper, where he produced instruction books and manuals for famous airplanes such as the P-40 Warhawk, the P-38 Lightning, the B-25 Mitchell, the B-17 Flying Fortress, the B-24 Liberator, the B-29 Superfortress, and the Douglas DC-3. Jordanoff was also well known for his numerous didactic publications on aeronautics, including his inventions outside the realm of aviation.
