Terry,
Yeah I know, and as soon as I get some test hops out of the way, I will remove it and send it to Bruce at CJM for correcting.
I did a real long DDOOOOOHHHH, when I opened the box and saw it. Want to know the funny part, is that I cant live with it that way. A brand new retract, totally functional, and I cant live with the fact that the scissor faces the wrong way, and the off set is on the wrong side. Oh gravy I got it bad.

Yes, you got it bad. I know what you mean though, I have some new struts on the way for my P-38, and I sure I hope ordered the correct nose strut [&:].

Ray,
Just noticed that all you need to do is turn the whole strut around. The yoke is on the wrong side also.

Hey ray,
The scissor on your nose gear is facing the wrong way!! You know, that could cause a crash on your maiden.
Yeah and the pilot would get a bad murphy when he retracts the gear! [:@]

Good catch Terry! That is an easy fix!

Vic

Status on this project - I got most of the laser cut parts done and I have all the necessary support pieces for the next fiberglass and resin fiasco! Its a grueling event but at least I know what to expect.
