Hey guys
I dont mean to change the subject, but I love stukas and I want to build one so bad, I think about it all the time.
I dont know what the cost is to do one like a ziroli, but I did find
a kit by sky shark its a 60 size plane, would I be disappointed
do you think? Or should I do a ziroli? Cost too...?
Thanks Seth........

Default stuka

Wow I really like that snake stuka, when I was a kid my dad
did a snake stuka in a small scale model, I think it was a
Revell model, I think that is why I like them so much.
But can I ask about what the ball park is for cost? (ziroli)
Thanks Seth.....

Thanks for the compliment. My stuka weighs about 30 lbs and flies very well at that weight. The difference in weight depends on how much you scale out the model.I have a air driven siren, five bombs that deploy at one time, functional landing light, full size cockpit. It will cost approximately 1500 to 1800.

consider the maratuka, 60 size, for cost savings. Its a great flying plane though I hate the inverted engine.
available from hobby barn

I'm building a Skyshark's Stuka now, and had one that was built by another club member. It flew great on an OS 46FX. It was mounted sideways with a Pitts style muffler. Anyway, if cost is a factor, I would go with the Skyshark, unless you already have a big gas burner for the Ziroli. No doubt that the Ziroli is bigger attention getter, most giant scales are, but if you can't get it to the field ?? The Skyshark is a little tight on room for servos, they will fit just be aware they're close. Don't know about the Maratuka, but
most Royal kits flew well. About the GP Stuka ARF?
Not so scale but they do fly well, at least the ones I saw. And let's face it, ya can't buy & build a kit at the price of ARF's these days..
That's a great looking Stuka with the Afrika paint scheme. BTW, where'd ya get the sirens??
