CG Comparison
Hi guys
I recently buit the Great Planes Spitfire 25 and slapped an OS25FX in there. Set up the CG according to the manual and had to add 60 grams of weight to the tail to get her balanced.
But what a dog it was to fly, way to tail heavy, removed 30 grams and then she flew like a dream.
I love this little plane so much that I decided to get the 25 sized P40 Warhawk as well. Downladed the manual and had look at it. Then found something interesting, the CG of these two planes are totally different although the planes are very similar in size, weight, shape etc.
My Spitfire seems to fly much better when the CG is closer to where the Warhawks CG is.
Just wondering why there would be such a difference.
