what parts? the photo I posted earlier in this thread was of a fresly pulled pair of gear, out of the shipping bag, there are no extra parts that come with them, if you want connector pins you need to make them yourself.
as for instructions my 7yo could install lados, this whole exersize is a real reach at best,OMG you made so much money on a barely used pair of gear boo hoo
as painfull as this may seem I have had no less than 3 offers to buy my retracts out of this and other thread postings for over market value,
so yes there is a market there present.
reading some of this tripe is pathetic, some of you guys need to find another outlet for your frustrations it baffles the mind

So again, the obvious... ppl that received their gear are happy... people that did not receive their gear are unhappy. No news there...This is one of the few "outlets" which unhappy Lado customers can use as an "outlet". If you do not like the "tripe"... then there should be no need to read it... can't make it any clearer than that.

I Watched the listing but even before a single bid had been placed I felt that $250 was a tad too much for used gear at auction... so I was shocked when it went up to where it finally ended. Wow!
To me the only point of talking about that auction on here is that it demonstrates vividly the market desire for this kind of product. It's a real shame that right now, nobody (including LADO, Hanger 9 or anybody else!) is selling anything new retail of this nature.
Regards.

Why doesn't someone, that imports from China, reverse engineer those damn Lados?
How difficult can it be? The electric actuator is key, struts and gear can be changed. Nice, because the actuator doesn't even have to be near the retract mech. That can be placed anywhere, where linkage can be set up.
I need electric actuators! How can there NOT be anyone else providing them?
Probably is but they are keeping it a secrete. [sm=bananahead.gif]

What makes you think those retracts are electric? According to what THEY say, they're all pneumatic (ie. air operated). Those are air cylinders on their retracts, not electric motors.

Right now, there's a vacuum... question is, who will fill it 1st and with reliable equipment/availability/support?
I have read the earlier posts, I was on this thread posting and reading it since near the very start. [:-]

Michael,
Sorry, wrong website.
Here's the correct link.
http://www.gz-retracts.com
They make, "proven," as they say, actuators.
Let us know?

Neat... I've never tried Google Translate before. Little confusing in places, but I get the jist of most of it. Their retracts appear to be intended for jet applications however as far as I can tell. It also looks like these retracts require a seperate controller (though I don't see mention of a controller for them, I notice that all the retracts only have a 2 wire red/black lead going to the motors). No prices and no online ordering capability that I can see.
As far as I can tell from what I can read thru the Google Translate, those retracts are not equivelant to the LADO retracts and aren't intended to compete against LADO retracts or be used in the same kinds of planes as the LADO retracts.

I sent an email to Doug over a week ago and have not heard back whatsoever. So much for LAMO, oops, I meant Lado.
So has anybody here actually found a pair of electric actuators for the Composite ARF P-51 w/ Sierra Precision Retracts?
I may experiment with a high torque digital HiTech servo to see if that'll do the trick. Pneumatic systems are sooooo yesterday and it's really a crying shame that we can't find a dependable actuator company to rely on for this great hobby.

Everyone who has a future interest in Lado Technology will be interested to know that Magnum RC will begin offering the actuators and retracts from the Lado line. We will be offering sales and service. Currently in the process of detail negotiations.
