Very inspiring work gentlemen
I´m going to build the 1/4 scale version by plans of David Andersen ( much cheaper variant for me ).
Maybe i´ll backdate the La-7 to La-5FN.

It´s one of the most beautifulfighters of the WW2.

Beautiful flight. I think the scale is not 1/4, but 1/3.5 ? I was thinking what propellor he uses, the rpm must be something about 5000 ?

Hi Mart,

Can you ask Mick the exact colors he used for his plane? I am just starting a Scale Wings LA7 and really like the grey he used.

Regards,
John

I thought I would bring this thread alive again with a video taken at our local field last weekend.

Hi. I don't know if anyone is still watching this thread, but I'd like to get advice or pic detail on the cockpit slider. I'm building 3.5 scale version with canopy slider.

In particular, I'd like see how the pull- pull cables are routed and connected to the pastic runners/sliders. Also, once mounted can the canopy be removed? Or, is it the "last thing" that's installed after the paint and glass is installed.

I appreciate any help.

Best,
James

Hi Guys, I have been waiting since Febuary to purchase the large La-7,i have sent about a dozen emails to which not one was replied, have phoned him since May , as he is very busy with the p51 the modeling production date keeps getting pushed back, He assured me that when the p51 project is done the modelling kits will be done and emails answered.he does seem genuine about this,
Mark

This may sound crazy, but have you thought about buying from Gotz (Team-Aeroscale) in the USA? Might be the quickest way to get a plane. Don't know if you follow the other forum, but i just finished mine.

Default I want get cooling information

Hi all
My plane is 1/4.5 equiped MOKI150 ,prop 24 x 14 3blade, oil rate 1:30, fuel line and tank is OK. Tried some way for cooling but continue overheat condition within 4~5 minuts after take off even winter season. fuel line , tank and tapet clearanceis ok.
Is this a normal condition of Scal wings LA-7 or abnormal.
Anyway I want get information for cooling if you have good method.
