Default Question about ESC

I have a Parkzone Trozan and the eflite 25amp blew. I replaced it with my F4U Corsair (parkzone)ESC 30amp and I noticed the Trojan was not as responsive. Question is, if the plane aks for a 25 amp ESC and I oput in a 30, should there be a change in performance? Or is it my Lipos?

Default RE: Question about ESC

Could be the way the ESC is programmed: many have variable timing and/ or frequency.

How did it blow? Did the motor get hot when it blew? You might have hurt the magnets if they did.

Don't know about the programming but I have changed alot of ESC's that were LARGER than the one I was replacing and I have never seen a change in power unless I changed Lipos.
